MIBoC online exams are conducted through YTM (You Test Me)

YTM password re-set

 

  1. Click on the link “Forgot username or password” found just above the “Log in” button.
  2. The popup below will appear automatically for a password reset.
  3. To reset your password enter in your “Username” into the username field. Your username is the email address you received the link to the exam on. (primary email in your Mobius Student profile)
  4. Enter the same email address into the “Email” field.
  5. Click the “Submit” button. (If you did not receive the email from YTM please check your junk mail).

Tips and techniques for candidates

  • Use a personal computer instead of a work computer, as security configurations on work devices might hinder the process.
  • Disconnect from any active VPN connections.
  • Disable all firewall and antivirus software temporarily.
  • Clear your browser/cache memory for all time.

Downloading SEB (Safe exam Browser)

The first thing you should try if your download fails is to attempt the download again. If the download fails, the second time try using a different browser.

Installing SEB (Safe exam Browser) on Windows

If you have had a previous version of SEB installed on your computer, you will receive the error below.

To resolve the problem “Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x64) 14.29.30037” needs to be uninstalled.

  1. In your system search type in “Add or remove programs”.
  2. In “Installed apps” scroll down to “Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x64) 14.29.30037”

  3. Click “Uninstall”.
  4. Once the uninstall is completed restart your computer.
  5. Navigate to your downloads and re-run the SEB installer.
